ABOUT OUR TAWAKKUL CIRCLE

The Umm Fariha Tawakkul Circle are monthly virtual gatherings hosted by Sister Aisha Dahiru Atta and Sister Zahra Zakariya Abdulkareem.

These gatherings were inspired by Sister Aisha’s beautiful #RamadanWithUmm2020 Takeover Session where she invited guests to share their beautiful and life-changing experiences of Free-falling with Tawakkul.

They have been hosted on every last Tuesday of the month since then – Alhamdulillah!

These monthly gatherings have now become a safe and non-judgemental space to share personal stories of times when we handed over complete control of our affairs to Allah.

Every story showcases a unique, beautiful, and inspiring relationship with Allah.

WHY SHOULD I ATTEND THE TAWAKKUL CIRCLE?

Sharing our story is an amazingly powerful way of healing ourselves, while uplifting others.
Let’s be honest, imaan is not a permanent state of euphoria that’s easy to hold on to. It’s a feeling that fluctuates. Our tests and trials can sometimes feel overwhelming and cause us to feel stuck, and every time a guest shares their tawakkul experience with honesty and vulnerability, it creates a circle of trust which reminds us of what is possible when we rely entirely upon Allah’s perfect plan.

We believe that your story can help our community –

  • Feel encouraged to reassess areas in their life where they need to surrender onto Allah
  • Feel a sense of hope in Allah’s Mercy & Perfect Wisdom
  • Leave with tools they can use to practice Tawakkul and improve their relationship with their Rabb
  • Feel a sense of belonging and connection that comes from being in a gathering of souls seeking Allah’s pleasure
  • Feel energized, grounded, unstuck, and inspired!
